To lead individuals to Jesus and to nurture them to spiritual maturity for God's glory.
To become a multi-ethnic congregation with a heart for mission.
It was 1994 when Rev. Danilo Quijano of El Shaddai Assembly of God in Morristown, NJ was inspired by God to petition Rev. Julthon Jordan from the Philippines to pioneer an Ethnic Church in West Central Section of New Jersey. After visiting Cherry Hill, NJ, Rev. Jordan contacted some Christians within the area who were willing to carry out God's plan of establishing a church. The Lord also provided a place for free in Kingsway Assembly of God, headed at that time by Rev. Fred Chilton.

With no prior service, cell group or any Bible study session, the first service was inaugurated in July of the same year. The Church was registered as Filipinos for Jesus Fellowship Assembly of God. From then, young people of El Shaddai Assembly of God supported Rev. Jordan to travel one and a half hours one way every Tuesday night. Although the Church was not that much exposed because services were held at the Church's basement, people started to come and were saved, baptized in the Spirit and trained for different ministries. After two years, the Church started its Sunday Service and adjusted the time three times to accommodate all the attendees and avoid overlapping with the Kingsway Church service. It was also the time when Rev. Jordan moved down to the south for good and sacrificed his status with his late wife, Emelyn Jordan, who stayed in north Jersey for a few months.  Rev. Jordan is survived bytwo sons, Josiah and Jared.
With all the struggles and hardships Rev. Jordan and the Church experienced, it moved on by grace for five years. Worship team was established as well as different ministries like Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry, Sunday School for kids, cell groups and different evangelistic efforts.

On its seventh year, a Church building in Gloucester City, NJ was purchased where all services are now being held. It was the time the Church's name was changed to Church of the Risen King (CRK) Assembly of God, taking the exclusive ethnic approach out. Currently, the Church is focusing on winning, consolidating, discipling and sending people to fulfill the Great Commission. Since then, the Lord has graciously been blessing the Church with people from different ethnic groups. Ministries continue to grow and now the Church can accommodate people of all ages, colors and status.

Rev. Jordan remarried on March 8, 2014 to Anna  Edith Cometa.  Together, they share the vision of intentional discipleship.
